Travel Registered Nurse Job Summary

Setting: Inpatient adult medical-surgical unit with future progressive care use

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Nebraska
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
One completed travel assignment
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

ACLS

Work Expectations

Must float frequently as needed to meet hospital staffing needs
Travelers are first to float
May float within scope to other units, including Bellevue campus
Drips are required on all floors
Primary patient population is adult medical-surgical; no labor and delivery or pediatrics

Schedule and Assignment Details

36-hour or 48-hour weekly option
13-week or 26-week contract option
Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week period
Holiday requirement: work 2 of 3 major holidays
Up to 2 weeks of requested time off permitted

Additional Notes

Pending license is accepted; if not in hand at submission, start will be scheduled 6 weeks out
Facility is nicotine-free
Scrubs are required and must be Steele gray with the facility logo
Parking is available for a monthly permit or daily rate parking
