Overview

Travel/Contract RN role in Columbia, Missouri
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 18:45–7:15
36 hours per week
Ratios are generally 1:4, with occasional 1:5

Unit / Setting

Level 1 trauma, Stroke, and STEMI ED
Includes a pediatric ED inside the ED
Float scope is between ED and ED Obs
Psych center is associated with the ED but is not part of float scope

Schedule / Work Expectations

50% holidays
Every other weekend
Rotating shifts and work during inclement weather may be required
Must be able to work assigned weekends, take call, and work at least 50% of holidays during the contract

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
2 years of ED - Emergency Department experience
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course
Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
No locals within 50 miles

Preferred

Additional Notes

The role involves frequent ambulation, reaching, and moving objects up to and over 20 lbs
The assignment is in a 24/7 healthcare facility
