Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Cedar Rapids, Iowa
• 13-week assignment
• Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:30
• 36 hours per week
• Locals welcome at the same rate

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Iowa
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• 1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience with Epic
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or RQI
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or RQI
• Every third weekend is required
• 2 supervisory references
• 7 years of employment history, or back to college/technical school graduation, with all gaps accounted for
• Unit-specific skills checklist
• Employment verification for the last 7 years
• 10-panel drug screen including THC within 30 days of start
• Negative TB or chest X-ray within 90 days of start
• Annual physical or statement of health within 1 year of assignment start
• Fit test within 12 months
• Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap within 10 years
• Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Hepatitis B documentation
• Iowa mandatory reporter certifications for child abuse and dependent adult abuse
• Background checks and required compliance screenings within 30 days of start
