Job Overview

• Patient census: 10
• Minimum Experience Required: 1 year
• Charting system: Epic preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
• On-call requirement: 1-2 weeknights and 1 weekend every 4 weeks
• Floating: No floating outside scope of practice
• Locals not accepted (75-mile radius restriction)
• Pending license accepted (temporary license application possible)
• Return to Office (RTO) restrictions: 7 days

Required Certifications

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA provider, instructor, or RQI accepted
• BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA provider, instructor, or RQI accepted

Preferred/Additional Certifications (as applicable)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure)
• State License Primary Source Verification
• NURSYS Verification for RN

Job Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional hemodynamic monitoring
• Conduct neuro-intervention, vascular, and structured heart exams
• Use Cath lab-specific equipment for hemodynamic monitoring
• Administer conscious sedation on adults per facility policies
• Perform non-invasive diagnostic cardiovascular procedures
• Assist in recovery of Cath Lab patients in SSU or PACU
• Use common equipment such as Philips imaging systems and Abbott Claris

Background and Compliance Requirements

• 7-year criminal background check (updated annually) including SSN trace, counties lived/worked/school, FACIS L3, DOJ sex offender search, nationwide check, and education verification
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 90 days of start
• Diploma or transcript required and must be on file
• Education verification (highest level) required
• Medication and competency exams as applicable
• Photo for badge (passport-style, solid background) required within 48 hours of signing
• Facility-specific agreements and confidentiality forms must be signed and on file within 48 hours of signing

Health and Safety Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• TDAP vaccine within 10 years or declination accepted
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray as applicable, with annual TB questionnaire
• Proof of immunity or vaccination for Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella (boosters or declinations accepted for low titers)
• Negative 12-panel drug screen within 90 days of start
• Seasonal flu vaccination or declination required during flu season
• COVID-19 vaccination preferred but not required; declination or exemption required if unvaccinated
• Respiratory safety clearance required annually

• Must comply with all facility-specific documentation and compliance requirements prior to start
• No floating outside of scope to meet facility needs
• On-call shifts required as specified
