Job Description

Seeking an EEG Technologist with pediatric experience (neonates through 18 years old), including experience with children with special needs. First-time travelers are accepted.

Required Qualifications

• Registered EEG Technologist (R. EEG T.) certification through the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET)
• Minimum of 1 year of EEG Technologist experience within the last year
• Experience working with neonate and pediatric patients, including children with special needs (up to 18 years old)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association

Additional Information

• EMR system used: Cerner
• Block scheduling allowed
• Must be able to take appropriate actions during patient emergencies
• Participate in conferences and technical meetings
• Promote customer service orientation and comply with all applicable policies and regulations

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

• Proof of identity and eligibility to work (e.g., government-issued photo ID)
• Background checks including 7-year criminal history and international searches if applicable
• Drug screening within 30 days of start
• Immunizations and health documents including:

  • Tdap vaccine
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within required timeframe
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella titers or vaccinations
  • Hepatitis B titer, vaccine series, or declination
  • Flu vaccine during flu season (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
  • COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
• Physical exam attesting ability to meet physical demands
• Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations
• Skills checklist and competency exams as applicable

Prior Travel Experience

• Not required; first-time travelers are accepted
