- Shift: Friday to Sunday, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
- Weekend Position: Yes

- Floating: Yes, within scope to meet facility needs (no floating to sister facilities)

Required Experience & Skills

- Level 1 trauma center or large hospital setting experience preferred
- Siemens scanner experience preferred
- Work Settings Required: Outpatient, inpatient

- General Skills Required: PACS, use of contrasts
- General Skills Preferred: IV starts, portables, biopsies
- CT Procedure Experience Required:
- Abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal
- CT angiographies (CTAs), multiplanar reconstruction
- CT Procedure Experience Preferred:
- Aspirations/biopsies, brain perfusion, colonography, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography, transplant studies
Required Certifications & Licenses
- License: Must have ARRT CT certification at time of application
- Basic Life Support (BLS): Required
- Other Certifications: ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, CPI, and others may be required depending on unit (verify with recruiter)
- Additional Requirements:
- Government-issued ID (e.g., driver’s license or state ID)
- Background checks including criminal, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG, and state-specific searches
- Education verification of highest related degree
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Drug testing within 1 year of start, must include standard panels
- Immunizations and health documents including Tdap, TB testing, MMR (measles, mumps, rubella), varicella, flu vaccination or exemption, and others as applicable
- Fit mask testing (N95) required and must be renewed annually
- Facility-specific compliance documents such as HIPAA acknowledgement, confidentiality form, hand hygiene policy, dress code policy, and others must be completed prior to start
Requirements / Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- ARRT (CT) certification required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Experience working in both outpatient and inpatient settings
- Proficient in CT procedures including pelvis, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal imaging
Additional Information
- Facility Type: Level 1 trauma center with high complexity cases

- References: Two professional references required (supervisors preferred)
- Orientation: Parking and orientation details provided; night shift parking is free
- Performance Evaluations: May be completed upon assignment completion but not required for extensions or per diem
- Competency Exams: Unit-specific competency exams required and must be updated annually
Summary
This is a weekend night shift CT Tech travel contract position requiring a minimum of 2 years of CT experience with ARRT CT certification. Candidates should have experience with Siemens scanners and be comfortable working in a high-acuity Level 1 trauma center environment. Weekend availability is mandatory, and first-time travelers are accepted. Multiple certifications, background checks, and health requirements must be met prior to start.
