Job Description
- Position: Cath Lab Tech needed ASAP
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day shift (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM)
- Hours: 40 hours per week (5 days x 8 hours)
- Call is required (details to be discussed with director)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, including experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Compliance and Documentation Requirements
- Criminal background check within 60 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years (instant searches not accepted)
- SAM (System for Award Management) verification within 30 days of start
- OIG (Office of Inspector General) verification within 30 days of start
- Education verification required
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Negative TB test (QGOLD or 2-step PPD within 60 days of start; T-spot not accepted; must be updated annually)
- Drug screen within 60 days of start (includes marijuana, cocaine, PCP, amphetamines, opiates, and others; does not need annual update)
- Flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (October 1 – March 31)
- COVID vaccination series preferred
- Two professional references within 2 years of start
- Employment application and skills checklist required
- Copy of valid driver’s license or state ID
- I9 and E-Verify documentation required
Additional Information
- Fit testing will be completed onsite during orientation
- Candidate must review lunch and break policy
- Orientation safety manual acknowledgement required
Notes
- If there is a gap of more than 30 days between assignments, new background check and drug screen are required
- Online certification courses are not accepted for BLS and ACLS; must be ARC or AHA instructor or provider courses
