Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist Home Health
Location: Spartanburg, South Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (5x8 hours)
Hours per Week: 40 hours
Job Description
- Provide physical therapy services in a home health setting.
- Clinician may float within scope to meet facility needs; mileage reimbursement provided.
- No on-call required.
- Local candidates outside a 50-mile radius are not accepted.
- Must have prior experience specifically in PT Home Health.
- Attendance policy: Missing more than two shifts without reasonable explanation during the 13-week contract may lead to contract review and possible cancellation.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in South Carolina
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience in a Home Health setting
Additional Information
- Pending state license applications accepted but must be finalized before starting.
- No block scheduling accommodations.
- Attendance and compliance with facility policies strictly enforced.
- Facility-specific documents and assessments (e.g., TB risk assessment, Epic survey for new starts) required.
- Pass/fail testing (e.g., cardiac arrhythmia, medication calculations) not required for Home Health PTs.
- National certification for PT (NBCOT) and state license required.
- Mileage reimbursement provided for floating within scope.
