Job Opportunity: Step Down Registered Nurse

Location: San Francisco, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide comprehensive patient- and family-centered care within the scope and standards of professional nursing practice. This role is for a PCU/Stepdown RN working in an 8-bed MST overflow unit.

Shift:

3 shifts per week, 12 hours each
Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Rotating weekends
No on-call requirements

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
Minimum 1 year of experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nursing, with experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
CCRN (Critical Care RN) certification
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification
Pass/Fail competency testing in EKG and Medication/Pharmacology as applicable
