Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Technologist (Travel/Contract)

Location: Lanham, Maryland
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Summary

Seeking a Radiology/Cardiology Technologist with strong CT experience to work primarily in ICU and ED areas. Equipment used includes Toshiba and PACS systems.

Requirements

Experience & Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of current and strong CT Tech experience
• CT Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Valid Maryland Radiology Technologist State License (Radiographer)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required

Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) – required for all units except Pharmacy
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – required for ICU, NCU, ED, Heart & Vascular, Observation, PCU/Telemetry, and Float units
• Other certifications may be preferred or required depending on unit (e.g., PALS, NRP, Chemo Certification)

Shifts

• 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Rotating weekends required

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• 7-year criminal background check within the past year, updated annually
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and updated with contract renewals
• Primary source verification of state license
• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• Fit test with N95 mask within past 12 months (on-site fit testing not available)
• Immunizations and titers required: TDAP, MMR (Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella), Hepatitis B, Varicella
• Negative TB test (Qgold or Tspot) within past 12 months; chest X-ray if TB positive
• Negative 9-panel drug screen (excluding marijuana) within 30 days of start
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption during flu season (Oct-Mar)
• References from 2 supervisors or above within 2 years of start
• Annual competency exams and color vision testing

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
• Equipment experience with Toshiba and PACS is important.
• Work environment includes ICU and Emergency Department settings.
