Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Sandpoint, Idaho
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 13 weeks)
Start Date: ASAP
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Call Schedule: About every 7th weekend and 1 night per week (excluding the weekend call week)
Locals Allowed: No
Radius Restriction: 50 miles
First Time Travelers Accepted: Yes
EMR System: Meditech
Block Scheduling Allowed: Yes

Experience & Certification Requirements

• Years of Experience Required: 2 years in specialty (Registered Nurse)
• Certifications Required:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Additional Requirements

• Background Checks:

  • Within 1 year of start, including SS Trace, County searches (last 7 years), Nationwide, Sex Offender registry
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required annually
• Licensure & Verification:

  • State License primary source verification required
  • NURSYS Verification for RN
• Competency Exams:

  • Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam as applicable
  • Competency Exam as applicable to profession/specialty
• Health Documents:

  • Physical exam within 1 year of start
  • Fit mask test within 1 year of start
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within required timeframes
  • TB questionnaire required
  • Immunizations or titers for Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
  • Negative 9 Panel Drug Screen within 30 days of start (including THC/Marijuana)
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or declination during flu season (10/1–3/31)
• References: 2 professional references within 3 years of start
