Shift Details

• Shift Days: Sunday through Saturday (including weekends)
• Shift Hours: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Required Experience

Required Background and Health Checks

• Criminal Background Check within 1 year, including statewide, nationwide, sex offender, SS trace, and federal searches

• Physical exam within 1 year, updated annually
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 1 year (amphetamines, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, cocaine, opiates, PCP)
• Negative TB test (PPD, TSpot, or QGold) within 1 year or negative chest x-ray if positive TB history
• Immunizations or titers required:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Varicella
  • Hepatitis B series or declination (titer not accepted)
  • Hepatitis C titer preferred; declination accepted with reason
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap or Pertussis titer if unable to receive vaccine
• Fit Mask (N95) testing within 1 year, renewed annually (PAPR documentation accepted if N95 fit test failed)
• Seasonal Flu Vaccine required by December 5 (declination accepted with masking requirements)
• COVID-19 vaccine documentation for current season or facility-specific declination with masking requirements

Required Documentation and Compliance

• 2 professional references within 1 year from leadership in current specialty
• Verification of employment for past 3 years
• Signed facility-specific job description prior to start
• Signed orientation packets and acknowledgments (including infection control, workplace violence prevention, sexual violence and harassment policy, and others)
• Completion of competency exams including medication, dysrhythmia/EKG, infection control/bloodborne pathogens
• Signed acknowledgment of pass/fail testing results
• Signed Pyxis Agreement (for RNs) due 5 business days before orientation
• First Day Instructions and orientation modules completed as required
