  • Drug screening: 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start (no instant tests)
  • Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
  • Immunizations and health documents required:
    • TDAP (within 10 years) or declination
    • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months
    • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
    • Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
    • Varicella vaccination or positive titer
    • Seasonal flu vaccine or declination (required during flu season)
    • COVID vaccine or declination
  • Respirator fit testing required for travel candidates (updated annually)

Training and Competency Requirements

  • Completion of Providence WorkRamp modules prior to start, including:
    • Core regulatory modules (annual)
    • Specialty-specific modules for Radiology/Cardiology as applicable
    • Epic training modules (for EPIC charting system users)
  • Competency exams and medication/pharmacology tests as applicable
  • Color blindness testing if required by unit
  • Skills checklists updated annually (if applicable)

References and Employment History

  • Minimum of 2 supervisor references covering at least 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
  • Employment application covering at least the last 5 years (7 years for APN/subcontractors) with month/year format for dates
  • Explanation required for any gaps or overlaps in employment

Additional Notes

  • Fire Card certification is required; candidates should attempt to complete prior to start or within 30 days post-start if approved
  • No weekend or on-call shifts required
  • No floating between units required
  • Pending state licenses accepted with conditions
  • Locals and first-time travelers are welcome
