Job Description

• Work with pediatric through adult patients at a small hospital setting.
• Must hold a Massachusetts license at the time of submission.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the specialty.

Required Credentials & Certifications

• Massachusetts state license (active at time of submission).
• RRT credential.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA only.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA only.
• Other certifications may be required depending on unit assignment (check specific specialty requirements).

Experience Requirements

• Specialty: Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics.
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.

Compliance & Background Checks

• Valid Driver’s License or State ID.
• Massachusetts Statewide (iCORI) Release (time sensitive, updated annually).
• 7-year Criminal Background Check within 30 days of start, including:

  • SSN Trace
  • 7-year County search
  • National Criminal search
  • NSOR, OIG, and SAM checks
• Education verification of highest completed education.
• Additional background checks as required (EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG, Sex Offender Search for subcontractors).
• Massachusetts Statewide iCORI Clearance attestation within 30 days prior to start.

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Physical exam within 12 months of start, including physician statement of fitness.
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray with specific timing requirements.
• Immunizations or documented immunity/declinations for:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
  • Flu vaccine or facility-specific declination (required during flu season).
  • COVID-19 vaccination (most recent as of August 2025) or facility-specific declination.
• Drug testing within 30 days of start.

Additional Requirements

• References: 2 references within three years of start.
• Employment application covering 7 years of employment history with explanations for gaps over 30 days.
• Skills checklist required prior to start and updated annually.
• Medication and competency exams as applicable.
