Job Opportunity: Temporary Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg / Oncology (Days)

Location: Sioux City, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• Work schedule: 36-40 hours per week, with overtime billable after 40 hours.
• Orientation sessions available on multiple upcoming dates.
• Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC.

Required Qualifications

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) in Med Surg and/or Oncology.
• Experience: Minimum 1+ year of Med Surg and/or Oncology experience required.
• Certifications:

  • ACLS (required)
  • BLS (required)
  • NIHSS (required; can be obtained during onboarding)
• Licenses: Valid RN license for Iowa.
• Additional Requirements:

  • Driver’s license.
  • Work history/resume.
  • Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission.
  • License verification.
  • Copy of required certifications.
  • One supervisory reference at time of submission.
• Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel experience preferred but not required.
• High acuity care experience preferred.

• Call back and on-call pay multipliers apply.
• Charge/precept pay available.
• Orientation dates are scheduled regularly to accommodate new hires.
