Job Opportunity: Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray)

Location: Richmond, Virginia
Employment Type: Permanent


Job Summary

Provide mobile X-Ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other locations using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment. Perform clinically diagnostic and technically competent X-ray imaging and transmit results to Radiologists and Cardiologists for interpretation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and process portable X-Rays and EKGs as needed.
  • Transport and set up portable X-Ray equipment at various facilities.
  • Obtain high-quality diagnostic images as ordered by physicians.
  • Scan and submit exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily.
  • Maintain communication with dispatch, management, peers, and clients professionally.
  • Maintain vehicle and X-ray equipment in good working order.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Radiology Technician license in Virginia
  • ARRT certification
  • Minimum of 1 year of Radiology Technician experience within the last year

Experience

  • Specialty: Technologist (Radiologic Technologist)
  • Required years of experience: Not explicitly stated; assume entry-level to experienced technologists.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to push/pull equipment weighing 50-100 lbs multiple times daily, sometimes using ramps and pulleys.
