Respiratory Therapist (Registered Respiratory Therapist) – Nights

Location: Peterborough, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Permanent, Part-time (24 hours per week)

Job Summary

Under general supervision, administer respiratory care and life support to patients with cardiopulmonary system deficiencies and abnormalities. Serve as a resource and trainer within the Respiratory Therapy Department. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide acute and critical care as prescribed.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage ventilator and BiPAP/CPAP equipment
• Perform arterial blood gas sampling and analysis
• Administer medications via nebulizer and metered dose inhaler
• Cross-train in Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) studies
• Provide respiratory care in acute and critical care settings

Required Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in Respiratory Therapy
• Current Respiratory Therapist license (must be maintained)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification highly preferred
