Registered Nurse (Medical/Surgical/Telemetry)

Location: Mason City, Iowa
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, every third weekend and every other holiday (EOH)

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced RN for Medical/Surgical and Telemetry care. The role involves providing direct patient care during night shifts with weekend and holiday rotation.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Iowa
• Minimum 1 year of Telemetry experience within the last year
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Experience in Orthopedics

Onboarding and Compliance Requirements

• Criminal background check (federal, nationwide, county) covering last 7 years, including SSN verification, dated within 30 days of start.
• Education verification of highest academic degree or diploma/GED.
• Drug and health screenings as noted above.
• Signed forms including:

  • Code of Conduct
  • Confidentiality and Information Security Agreement
  • Conflict of Interest Disclosure
  • Integrity and Audit Services Form
  • Non-Employee Upload Form
  • Criminal History and Abuse Registry checks specific to Iowa.
  • OFAC sanctions screening within 30 days of start.
• Trinity system access form completed and uploaded one week before start.
• Joint Commission CORE exam within the last year.
• Skills checklist provided by agency for clinical contractors.
