Job Opportunity: Perinatal Sonographer

Location: Syracuse, New York
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (15 weeks)
Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (or 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM)
Hours: 40 hours per week


Job Description

  • Focus on high-risk pregnancies with experience in Obstetrics (OB) and Maternal Fetal Medicine.
  • Use of Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
  • Candidates must reside at least 60 miles away from the facility (no local candidates).

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonography experience within the last year.
  • Experience working with Maternal-Fetal patients and high-risk patients.
  • BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Health and Safety Requirements (Must be completed prior to or at onboarding)

  • MMR vaccination proof (2 doses or IgG titer).
  • Fit test for N95 masks (specific mask brands/models required).
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series (first dose must be completed prior to start).
  • 2-Step PPD or IGRA TB test (with specific timing and follow-up requirements).
  • Varicella vaccination proof (1 dose or IgG titer).
  • Physical/Health statement confirming fitness to work (exam within last year).
  • COVID-19 vaccine proof including booster or approved exemption (declination not accepted in CA or IL).
  • 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start.

Professional and Compliance Requirements (Must be completed prior to or at onboarding)

  • Resume and skills checklist (within the last year).
  • Two professional references.
  • Criminal background check (federal, nationwide, county for last 7 years).
  • Education verification (highest degree or diploma/GED).
  • EPLS and OIG exclusion checks (within 30 days).
  • Integrity and audit services form (signed within 30 days prior to start).
  • Joint Commission CORE exam (within the last year).
  • National Sex Offender Registry (NSO) check (within 30 days).
  • System access form (completed and uploaded one week before start).
  • Specialty-specific competency testing (completed within the last year).
  • License/certification verification (dated within 30 days of start).
  • Code of conduct form (signed).
  • I-9 verification completed by agency.
