RN Telemetry Float Pool

Overview

Location: Salem, Massachusetts
Employment type: Long-term assignment
Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Schedule: Nights and every other weekend
Hours: 36 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks

Role Summary

Float pool telemetry RN covering multiple med/surg telemetry areas across the hospital
Must be willing to float to 8 different units
Responsibilities include cardiac monitoring, cardiac drips, and reading telemetry strips
Care includes ED border patients, medication nursing in an acute mental health unit, and non-vented ICU transfer-ready patients

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Massachusetts
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Experience in an Acute Care setting
Telemetry experience with 2 years of experience within the last year
2 years or more of total travel experience
2 years of experience working as a Traveler

Additional Notes

Free on-site parking
Days/evenings rotate with 1 to 3 rotations to nights per contract
EPIC is used for charting
