Certified Wound Care Nurse
Location: Fort Defiance, Arizona
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (No holidays or weekends)
Hours per Week: 36
Job Description
- Provide comprehensive care to patients with ostomies, draining wounds, fistulas, pressure ulcers, and acute or chronic wounds.
- Assess, plan, and implement wound and ostomy care.
- Educate patients and their families/significant others on evaluation, selection, and recommendation of supplies and equipment for optimal wound and ostomy management.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Arizona
- Wound Care Certification
- Minimum 3 years of wound care experience, including experience within the last year
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing

- No prior travel experience required
