MRI Technologist

Location: Omaha, Nebraska
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days
Hours: 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week
Schedule: Friday through Monday, including holidays as scheduled
Call: Required

Job Summary

Perform quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures under the supervision of a qualified radiologist to provide accurate imaging for diagnosis and treatment. Participate in teaching and research activities related to MRI. Must demonstrate effective communication skills, ability to multitask, and handle challenging customer interactions with appropriate escalation.

Epic (EMR system)
McKesson (Imaging system)

Required Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of MRI experience
ARRT MRI certification required
Minimum 1 year experience in a Level I Trauma Hospital
Experience with Philips MRI equipment
Proficient with computers, including basic navigation and email applications
BLS (AHA) certification

Additional Information

Orientation: 12 hours of non-billable orientation (guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation)
Call-Off Policy: Up to 36 hours off allowed every 13 weeks
Local candidates not accepted; 100-mile radius restriction applies
Dress Code: Red uniforms
