Overview

• OB RN in Huntington, Indiana
• 13-week contract
• Nights, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Indiana
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum (3 years of experience)
• LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• NRP

Preferred Qualifications

• Intermediate Fetal Heart monitor cert AWHONN

Unit Details

• Care for patients and families during labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum phases of childbirth, plus newborn care
• 6 LDRP beds and 3 postpartum beds
• Staffing follows Indiana Perinatal Standards
• Epic electronic medical record, Electronic Fetal Monitoring, Fetal Warmers, Pyxis

Schedule

• Two nurses are required in the facility at all times; the employee will not work alone
• Fills open shifts on the schedule, not the call schedule
• Weekends are required: every third Friday and Saturday, plus a scheduled Sunday every three weeks
• Orientation is mandatory for all 7 days: Mon-Fri week 1 and Mon-Tues week 2, 8-hour days

Floating

• No floating to other units/departments is expected

Additional Notes

• Hospital-issued scrubs are expected
• Clinicians with permanent addresses within 50 miles are subject to local rate rules
• Client may call off or cancel up to 24 hours for every 13-week assignment
