Location

• Boise, Idaho

Contract

• 13 weeks
• Nights
• 12-hour shifts
• 48 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Active ACLS certification
• Active BLS certification
• 2 years of experience in the specialty
• Previous travel experience
• Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips
• Ability to titrate drips

Unit Details

• Float pool covering medical-surgical, telemetry, and ED boarder patients
• May float within specialty to Boise, Meridian, and Nampa facilities
• May be assigned as a 1:1 sitter in any area

Patient Population

• Post-op, ortho, neuro, satellite telemetry, medical, oncology
• ED holds including CVA/TIA rule-out, chest pain, abdominal pain, and CHF

Skills / Clinical Experience

• Experience with Cardizem, amiodarone, and nitroglycerin
• ED holds experience is preferred

Schedule

• Every other weekend
• Holidays as needed
• No call
• No self-scheduling
• Block scheduling may be attempted but is not guaranteed

Orientation

• Day 1 meet-and-greet
• 3 inpatient orientation shifts

Additional Notes

• Travelers are first to float and may be moved mid-shift as needed
• Scrubs must be clean and professional; no specific color required
• Safe parking is available
