Hours: 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week
Unit: Operating Room with 16 suites
Average Cases per Day: 30 (General, ENT, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, Robotics)
EMR System: Epic
Scrubbing Skills: Preferred but not required
Scrubs Provided

Required Qualifications

Current BLS (AHA) certification
Must have Trauma and Neuro experience
Charge nurse experience preferred (charge nurse/house supervisor present on shift)

Orientation & Scheduling

Unit/Department specific orientation required (approx. 120 hours over 13 weeks)
Orientation shifts vary from 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM, including weekends and holidays as needed
No weekend, weeknight, or holiday call requirements typically; 4th of July holiday coverage preferred depending on contract
No floating required unless extreme need arises within nearby zones
Scheduling includes shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM
No call response time required

Additional Information

Must be in-state for the week of orientation (even if some modules are remote)
Valid driver’s license must be submitted
Radius for travel: 60 miles
