Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical Unit

Location: Winslow, Arizona
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (3 shifts of 12 hours each)
Hours: Approximately 36 hours per week
Weekend Requirement: At least 2 weekends per month (may vary)

Job Description

A small rural hospital is seeking a Travel Nurse for their Medical Surgical unit. The patient population includes a wide range of diagnoses, with a preference for candidates who have experience with Pediatrics. The unit typically has nurse-to-patient ratios ranging from 1:4 to 1:6 depending on patient acuity.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Arizona
Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
Medical Surgical nursing experience within the last year
ACLS certification
BLS certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience working with Pediatric patients

Additional Information

Hospital housing provided in nearby modular home (no pets or significant others allowed)
Night shift schedule with weekend shifts required
Candidates should be comfortable working in a rural hospital environment
