Occupational Therapist (OT) - Travel Position

Location: Gainesville, Georgia
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Seeking an Occupational Therapist with Neuro or Inpatient Rehab experience for a travel assignment.

Requirements

Specialty: Neuro or Inpatient Rehab preferred
Years of Experience: 2 years (highest requirement)
Prior Travel Experience: Not required
Certifications: Valid Occupational Therapy license in Georgia
Education: Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy

Work Details

Shift: Day with weekend rotation
Weekly Hours: 40 hours guaranteed
Weekend Hours: 8 hours
Call: None
Float: No float requirements

Patient Population & Setting

Adult, geriatric, neuro, ortho, debility, amputee, critical illness
Facility type: Free-standing rehabilitation facility
Number of beds: 40
Patient ratios: 4-6 patients per therapist

Skills & Experience

Must have skills in evaluation and treatment of neuro, ortho, and geriatric populations
Preferred experience with Neuro, inpatient rehab, and GG Quality Indicators
Common diagnoses treated: CVA (stroke), hip fracture, debility

Equipment & Systems

Equipment used: Bioness Vector, Senaptec, Neuro VR, Lite Gait, Standing Frame, Tilt table, Car simulator, Chattanooga tower, NuStep, Omnicycle
Electronic Health Record (EHR): EPIC (read-only), UDS Pro Doc Rehab Connect
