Position Details

• Specialty: Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN)
• Shift: Days, 4x10 hour shifts (Monday-Friday)
• Hours: 36 hours per week guaranteed
• Call Requirements: None
• Weekend/Holiday Work: None
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Years of Experience Required: 3+ years in OR specialty
• Prior Travel Experience: Not specified (assumed not required)

Required Skills and Experience

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in navigating multiple computer systems (EMR: EPIC)
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to provide high-quality care in an OR setting
• Must have experience with:

  • Robotic surgery
  • Laparoscopic surgery
  • Microsurgery
  • Neurosurgery

Unit and Patient Information

• Type of Unit: Operating Room
• Patient Population: Surgical patients (teen and adult)
• Types of Cases: Orthopedic, Urologic, Plastic, and General surgery
• Care Activities: Direct patient care, coordination with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort

Work Environment and Culture

• Team-oriented with ability to work independently
• Scrub color: Black
• Flu vaccination required for travel period November 1 - April 1 (exemptions require approval)

• No weekends, holidays, or call required
