Staff: 9 RNs, 2 new grads in orientation, 1 nurse educator
Shifts:
- Day Shift: 2 RNs, 1 nurse educator (if available)
- Night Shift: 2 RNs
Patient Ratios: 3-4 patients per RN
Equipment: Baxter IV Pumps, GE Fetal Monitoring
Electronic Medical Records (EMR): CPN, Meditech

Dress Code: Royal Blue scrubs
Weekend shifts required (approximately 4 per 4-week schedule)
Floating areas include Labor & Delivery and Postpartum care (Postpartum care limited to postpartum mothers only)

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
Current IFM (Inpatient Fetal Monitoring) certification
Membership or certification with AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses)
