Job Opportunity: CT Tech - Radiology

Location: Johnstown, Pennsylvania
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, 3 days per week
Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
Call Requirements: None
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours

Unit and Work Environment

• Department: CT Scan
• Trauma Level: Level 1 Trauma Center
• Number of Openings: 1
• Equipment: Siemens Definition 40 slice and Siemens Definition Flash 128 slice CT scanners
• Electronic Health Records (EHR): EPIC, Change (McKesson)
• PACS and Medrad injectors used
• Patient Population: All ages, primarily geriatric and adults
• Work setting: Fast-paced environment with ER and inpatient imaging
• Personality Fit: Easy-going personality preferred

Required Qualifications

• Completion of a two-year radiology program
• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year

Additional Information

• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
• Dress Code: Scrubs of any color allowed; casual wear, camo, and denim are not acceptable
• No float or call requirements
• Facility requires complete and clear background screenings including Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, fingerprinting, and state police clearance prior to start
