Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kentucky
- LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum experience within the last year
- 1 year of experience in LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN
- Previous nursing experience
Key Responsibilities
- Performs comprehensive patient assessments and documents findings
- Provides direct patient care, including rounds, treatments, and ongoing reassessment
- Coordinates admissions, transfers, discharges, and discharge teaching
- Educates patients and families
- Delegates and oversees patient care tasks
- Participates in unit-based quality improvement activities
- Supports a healing, patient-centered care environment
Skills and Abilities
- Clear, respectful verbal and written communication
- Collaboration with the care team
- Ability to assess age-specific patient safety issues and implement appropriate safety devices
- Ability to use computer systems and applications or be trained to use them
