Job Opportunity: Radiologic Technologist - Nuclear Medicine
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Employment Type: Long Term Contract (13 weeks)
Job Description
- Start: ASAP
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- On-Call: Yes; one weekday per week (4:30 PM - 10:00 PM) and one weekend per month (Saturday/Sunday 7:00 AM - 10:00 PM). Approximately one holiday call during the contract.
- Expected Hours: 40 hours per week
- Float between Nuclear Medicine (NM) and PET as needed for direct and indirect patient care (e.g., patient reminder calls)
- Volume: 10+ Nuclear Medicine procedures per day, 12-14 PET/CT scans daily
- Common Procedures: Whole Body Bone scans, Lung scans, Gastric emptying, Renal scans, HIDA scans, Thyroid uptake and scans, DAT scan brain scans, Lymphoscintigraphy, Parathyroid scans, FDG PET, Specialty PET
- Equipment: GE and Siemens systems
- Dress Code: Grey scrubs
Required Qualifications
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 3 years of experience
- Recent Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year
- Certification: ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification specific to Nuclear Medicine
- Proficient in General Nuclear Medicine imaging
- Proficient in PET imaging
- Demonstrated Nuclear Medicine experience
