Location

Job Type

  • Long-term contract

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Shift

  • 12-hour night shift
  • Every other weekend

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in North Carolina
  • PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
  • 1 year of PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
  • Travel experience required
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Experience with Epic

Schedule / Work Expectations

  • Self-scheduling
  • Required to work 3 of 4 holidays
  • Required to work 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week schedule
  • Must be able to float to areas of equal or lesser care
  • All requested time off must be approved before confirmation; no additional time off will be granted during the assignment

  • 32-bed flex unit
  • Intermediate and general care setting
  • RN-to-patient ratio: 1:4

  • Oncology patients needing surgical intervention
  • Benign surgical patients
  • Ear, nose and throat
  • Colorectal
  • OB/GYN

  • Gastrointestinal

  • Surgical cancer patients except brain or lung cancer
