Schedule

• 12-hour variable shifts
• Every other weekend
• Every other holiday

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Wisconsin
• Respiratory Therapist (1 year of experience)
• Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NBRC
• Bachelor's degree

Preferred

• NRP

Assignment Details

• May be floated to Tomahawk, Howard Young, and Eagle River
• May be low censused and placed on call; call-back minimum is 2 hours
• Supports all patient care areas, including the ED and general care areas
• Provides emergency support for Rapid Response and Code Blue
• Experience with basic respiratory care, critical care, ventilator management, patient assessment using Assess and Treat Protocols, and care for all age groups

Additional Notes

• Must live outside a 50-mile radius
• Charting system: EPIC
• Equipment includes BiPAP V60, Puritan Bennett 980 ventilators, LTV1200 transport ventilators, Airvo2, Optiflow, and Resmed S10
• Scrub color: any
• During flu season, travelers who decline flu and COVID vaccination must wear a mask at all times
