Operating Room Registered Nurse

Overview

• Travel assignment in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin
• 13-week contract
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• Day shift, 4x10 schedule
• Rotating shift times: 6:30 AM–3:00 PM or 6:30 AM–5:00 PM

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Wisconsin
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
• OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
• BLS
• Experience with Epic
• Experience in Charge roles
• Proficiency with Orthopedic Hana table
• Experience with cataract procedures
• Ability to perform c-section circulator role

Preferred

• At least 1 prior travel contract completed
• Experience working in a full-fledged operating room with all service lines for 2–3 years
• Comfortable with emergency situations
• Charge role experience
• Orthopedic service line experience
• Proficiency with Orthopedic Hana table
• Experience with Total Knees and Hips
• Strong ortho experience
• Cataract procedure experience
• C-section circulator role experience

Unit / Assignment Details

• Operating Room assignment
• Primary location: Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital
• Unit focus includes orthopedic and medical surgical patients
• Surgery covers OB c-sections and all hospital inpatient and outpatient surgeries
• Orthopedic service line makes up 40% of total volume
• One on-call team provides 24/7 coverage

Float / Call Expectations

• May float to Waukesha Memorial and Mukwonago
• May be required to float based on census
• One weekend of call every 6 weeks, from Friday end of shift to Monday 6:30 AM
• One weekday overnight call per week
