Job Description

As a Registered Nurse (RN) at Bay Area Hospital, you will:

• Apply the nursing process to the care of patients within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
• Teach patients and significant others.
• Document patient care in the medical record.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to effectively coordinate overall care of the patient.

Submission Requirements

• Recent (within the past 2 years) acute care hospital experience - REQUIRED
• 2 years of intermediate/progressive care experience - REQUIRED
• Candidates with PCU/IMCU/Telemetry/Stepdown experience will be considered.
• Certifications do not need to be active at the time of submission but must be willing to obtain.
• Oregon license does not need to be active at the time of submission but must be willing to obtain.

Certification Requirements

• ACLS (AHA)
• BLS (AHA)

State License Requirements

• Oregon

Additional Information

• Recent acute care hospital experience is required.
• Candidates must be willing to obtain necessary certifications and licenses.
• COVID vaccination is no longer required.
