Pediatrics (Nights)

Overview

• Temp Registered Nurse (RN) role in Des Moines, Iowa.
• 13-week contract.
• Nights shift.

Unit / Setting

• Pediatric unit serving Peds Hem/Onc, Med Surg, and all Pediatric specialties.
• Bed size: 23.
• Ratios: 1:3-5.

Float Scope

• May float across NICU, B4 hema/onc, PICU, Peds ED, ED boarders, and Peds onc/hem when needed.

Required Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Valid RN license in Iowa.
• Pediatrics experience.
• Pediatric Med Surg (1 year of experience).
• Pediatric Med Surg experience within the last year.
• Experience with Epic.
• Driver's License.
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• PALS issued by American Heart Association.

Preferred

• Professional reference/reference check from a charge, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the last 24 months.

Additional Notes

• First-time travelers are welcomed.
• Required to work 1-2 of the 3 upcoming summer holidays unless the unit is closed.
• NBO: 16 hrs.
