Job Opportunity: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics (Travel/Contract)
Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Contract Length: 12 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Facility: Hospital setting (Fairview Hospital, part of a major health system)

Position Requirements
Credentials:
- CRT or RRT accepted (must have current NBRC certification)
- Must have Ohio RRT license in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an RRT
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required (AHA preferred, RQI acceptable but non-RQI preferred)
- ACLS required for RRTs working in Emergency Department (AHA only)
- PALS and NRP required for RRT-NICU (pediatric/neonatal specialty)
Licensing & Certifications:
- Ohio RRT license mandatory
- Current NBRC certification
- BLS required for all candidates
- Additional certifications depending on specialty (ACLS, PALS, NRP)
Experience:
- At least 2 years clinical practice in an acute care setting, preferably in a similar specialty area
Work Schedule & Duties
- Contract duration: 8 or 12 weeks (this posting is for 12 weeks)
- Weekends as needed
- May float to other facilities within the health system as needed
Compliance & Documentation Requirements
Background Checks:
- Criminal background check (FCRA compliant 7-year search including SSN trace, nationwide criminal, sex offender, OFAC)
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required monthly
- FBI and BCI fingerprinting within 12 months of start (must be completed before start; no pending fingerprints allowed)
- Ohio BCI/FBI fingerprint attestation required
Health & Safety:
- Pre-employment physical exam within 1 year confirming ability to perform essential job functions
- Fit mask test within 12 months, updated annually (specific approved N95 masks required)
- Negative 2-step TB test or chest x-ray within 6 months, renewed annually
- Required immunizations or titers: Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B
- Negative 10-panel + nicotine drug screen within 12 months, updated annually
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (no declinations accepted)
Training & Onboarding:
- Completion of facility-specific online training modules (4-5 hours, must be done on a computer using Chrome) prior to orientation
- HIPAA and safety manual acknowledgements updated annually
- Unit-specific competency exam and skills checklist required annually
- Badge photo and badge pickup required before start
- I9/E-Verify attestation required
Work History & References:
- Must provide 3 years of prior work history including at least 2 years clinical acute care experience in a similar specialty
- Two recent satisfactory pre-employment references required
Additional Notes
- All work history, including any previous positions within the health system, must be included in the candidate profile
- Scheduling and time-off requests must be communicated during submission and interview
- Candidates working with pediatric patients (RRT-NICU) have additional fingerprinting and onboarding requirements onsite
