Job Opportunity: Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist (Travel/Contract)

Location: Kenosha, Wisconsin

Shift: 5 days a week, 8-hour day shifts

Job Description

  • Provide 60-minute evaluations and follow-up treatments in an outpatient orthopedic physical therapy setting.
  • Work in a clinic with private treatment rooms.
  • Clinic team includes 4 Physical Therapists and 1 Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • If certified in Pelvic Floor or Lymphedema therapy, scheduling for these populations is available.

Requirements

  • Licensure: State license required (pending license acceptable).
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
  • Background Check: 7-year background check required within 1 year of start, updated annually.
  • References: Two professional references verified within 2 years of start.
  • Physical Exam: Required within 1 year of start.
  • Drug Testing: Negative 9-panel drug screen within 14 days before start.
  • Immunizations & Health Documents:
    • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: Positive titer or 2 vaccines.
    • Hepatitis B: Titer, series, or declination.
    • Varicella: Positive titer or 2 vaccines.
    • Negative TB test (QGold) within 1 year (Chest X-Ray within 60 days if applicable).
    • Seasonal Flu Vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (October to March).

Additional Certifications (Preferred/As Applicable)

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – not required for CNAs.
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure).
  • NIH Stroke Certification (for applicable nursing roles).
  • Medication/Pharmacology Competency Exams as applicable.
  • Color Blind Testing (for dialysis/kidney center roles).

Facility Specific Requirements

  • Photo for badge (passport-style, shoulders up, no filters).
  • Completion of compliance checklist and confidentiality statement prior to start.
  • Flu vaccine exemption forms if applicable.
  • Dosimeter request form for Imaging Department (not required for MRI Tech).

  • This position is not open to first-time travelers.
  • Locals are accepted but at a lower pay rate.
