Job Details

• Schedule: Days, Monday to Friday
• Hours: 8-10 hours per day, 40 hours per week
• Shift Start: No earlier than 7:30 AM
• Shift End: No later than 6:00 PM
• Patient Population: Pediatric outpatient with a wide variety of diagnoses
• Required Skills: Acute care, outpatient clinic, pediatrics
• EPIC experience preferred
• Traveler’s primary residence must be more than 25 miles from the facility

Certifications & Licenses

Background & Compliance Requirements

• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG excluded provider checks required
• Minnesota DHS NetStudy Fingerprint clearance required (no start with fingerprints pending)
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Drug testing: 9-panel within 1 year (not required for client clearance but recommended)
• Immunizations and health screenings required:

  • Tdap vaccination (no religious declination accepted)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray per MN state guidelines
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) proof of immunity or vaccination (time sensitive)
  • Hepatitis B vaccination, positive titer, or declination
  • Varicella immunity or vaccination (time sensitive)
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or declination (mask required if declined)

Additional Requirements

• Two references from recent employers within 2 years required
• Skills checklist required for all clinical candidates
• Candidate must complete Minnesota DHS NetStudy Fingerprint Questionnaire immediately after signing contract
• Photo for badge required (grey background, no selfies, JPG format)
• Dress code must be reviewed prior to start (specific scrubs for some roles)
• Education modules to be completed during orientation (approx. 16 hours)
• Confidentiality agreement must be signed prior to start
• Candidates must return badges on last day of assignment

Notes

• Candidates must complete all required documentation and clearances prior to start
• Fingerprinting must be completed within 2 weeks of registration
• Candidates may need to travel to a livescan location for fingerprinting if not available locally
• No start allowed with pending fingerprint results unless a “more time needed” letter is approved
