Job Details

• Shift Schedule: 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts plus on-call
• Specialty: Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR)
• Required Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty, 5 years preferred

Required Certifications and Licenses

• Certifications:

Background and Health Requirements

• 7-year criminal background check within a year of start, updated annually
• Physical exam attesting ability to meet physical demands, updated annually
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 30 days of start
• Required immunizations or titers: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
• Drug screening: 9-panel drug screen within last 12 months
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required during flu season
• COVID-19: Fully vaccinated; religious and medical exemptions require facility-specific forms and review

Additional Facility Requirements

• Annual review and completion of orientation safety manual
• Completion of facility-specific documents including confidentiality agreements, dress code policy, and clinical onboarding exam
• Annual skills checklist update

Summary

This is a 13-week travel contract for an Operating Room Registered Nurse in Louisiana requiring at least 2 years of OR nursing experience (5 years preferred).
