Schedule & Work Details

• Shift: 4x10 Variable, Monday to Friday, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
• On-call required one-third of the time
• Holiday call coverage rotation
• Weekend requirement: Yes, every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period (schedule TBD by unit needs)
• Floating: Yes, clinicians may float within scope to other facilities as needed
• Patient Ratios: 1:2

Experience & Requirements

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (Cath Lab)
• Required Years of Experience: 1 year (no first-timers accepted)
• Prior travel experience: Not explicitly required
• EPIC experience required
• Certifications Required:

  • ACLS (AHA Instructor or Provider, RQI accepted)
  • BLS (AHA Instructor or Provider, RQI accepted)
• Licensure: Florida State or compact license required at time of submission (pending license not accepted)
• References: 2 professional references from authority figures (Manager, Supervisor, Charge Nurse, or Director) within the last year required
• Scrubs: Any solid color

Certifications & Competencies (may be applicable)

• PALS, NRP, TNCC, EFM (FHM certification required for Labor and Delivery candidates)
• IV Certification (for LPN/Home Care if applicable)
• NIH Stroke Certification (annual renewal required)
• Miscellaneous certifications for Home Care: HIV, Med Errors, Alzheimer’s
• Competency Exam required
• Color Blind Testing Online required for MLTs

Licensure & Background Checks

• Background Check within 90 days of start covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years, updated annually
• EPLS/GSA/SAM check required within 90 days of start
• HHS/OIG check run monthly
• Florida AHCA Level II Fingerprint Results required prior to start (Livescan electronic fingerprinting mandatory if no prior clearance)
• Education Verification required (international searches included)
• Certain educational institutions are not accepted (facility-specific list)

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Physical exam within 6 months prior to start (required by Florida law for all patient-facing candidates)
• Fit mask test within 12 months prior to start (strict policy: must be fully shaven; PAPR not accepted)
• Negative TB or Chest X-Ray within 3 months of start (QGold or 2 negative PPDs accepted; Tspot NOT accepted)
• Annual TB Questionnaire required
• Titers required within 5 years for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
• 10 Panel Drug Screen within 90 days of start (must include marijuana; witnessed urine collection required for instant tests)
• Flu vaccine required during flu season (10/1 - 3/31) or approved medical/religious exemption on facility-specific forms
• Facility-specific flu exemption forms must be submitted by Monday prior to start date

Facility Specific Documents & Policies

• Photo for badge: passport-style, solid white background, no filters
• Auto insurance required for Home Health roles
• Radiation Badge Monitoring Form required for Radiology, Interventional Radiology, Cath Lab, OR, Pain Clinic
• Facility documents to complete: Job Description Acknowledgement, Confidentiality Agreement, iCARE Values, Badge Form
• Health First Attestation Letter to be completed and uploaded

• Locals accepted at same rate as travelers
• Contracted hours guaranteed
• Return to Office (RTO) restrictions must be finalized and included with submission; no changes accepted after offer
• Flu vaccine required between 10/31 and 3/31 unless medically or religiously exempt (strict exemption policies)
