Assignment Details

• Travel/Contract
• 13 weeks
• Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:00–17:30
• Call required every 6th/7th weekend, and potentially 1 weekday (Monday–Thursday)
• Works in the endo procedure room and pre/post

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Iowa
• Endoscopy (1 year of experience)
• Endoscopy experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or RQI
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or RQI
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Endo equipment experience, including snares, biopsy, and basic normal endo supplies/equipment
• Experience with Epic
• State License 1 Verification
• NURSYS Verification for RNs
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
• Color Blind Testing Online
• Competency Exam
• Core Part I
• Core Part II
• Core Part III
• 2 supervisory references from the specialty the worker will be working in, with at least one within the last year and the second within the last 2 years
• 7 years of employment history or history back to college/technical school graduation, with all gaps accounted for and no gap greater than 30 days
• Current and valid phone number and email address on the resume
• Education information on the resume, including completion date, school name/location, and degree obtained
• 10-panel drug screen including THC within 30 days of start
• Annual physical or statement of health within 1 year of assignment start date
• Fit test within 12 months
• Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap within 10 years or Aya declination
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 90 days of start
• Rubeola immunity or 2 live MMR vaccines
• Mumps immunity or 2 live MMR vaccines
• Rubella immunity or 2 live MMR vaccines
• Hepatitis B series, positive IgG titer, or declination on file
• Varicella immunity or 2 live Varicella vaccines
• Mandatory Reporter certification for Child Abuse
• Mandatory Reporter certification for Dependent Adult Abuse

Additional Compliance

• Background check within 30 days of start
• EPLS/GSA/SAM within 30 days of start
• HHS/OIG within 30 days of start
• Sex Offender Search within 30 days of start
• OFAC Sanctions List Search within 30 days of start
• Transcript or diploma required, with diploma preferred in addition to third-party verification
• Education verification through the traveler’s school or a program like the National Student Clearinghouse
• Skills checklist required for the unit and any units floated to
• Work history verification for the last 7 years of employment
• Core competency exams must be updated annually
• Learning lessons required prior to start
• HIPAA acknowledgement required
• Mandatory Reporter training must be completed through the Iowa HHS website
