Operating Room Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Kinston, North Carolina
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Contract length: 13 weeks
Process: Candidates are reviewed and interviewed by the manager.

Schedule

Four 10-hour day shifts per week (40 hours/week), Monday through Friday
Arrive at 6:45 a.m. for huddle; shift runs 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Rotating weeknight and weekend call
Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed

Role Overview

The OR Nurse provides pre-, intra-, and post-operative patient care as part of the surgical team. Experience with general, orthopedic, urology, GYN, C-sections, ophthalmology, vascular, dental, and ENT services is preferred.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Operating Room (OR) experience: 5 years
Operating Room (OR) experience within the last year
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
BLS (Basic Life Support)
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience with Epic
