Overview

• Travel/Contract assignment in Marrero, Louisiana
• Night shift: 4x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
• 13-week contract
• Unit ratio: 1:6
• Weekend requirement: Yes
• Holidays: Yes, at least 2 of 3 holidays
• No on-call
• Float: Yes
• Scrubs: Navy and white combo

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Louisiana
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Experience with Epic
• Experience working with Neuro Trauma patients
• Experience working with Spinal Cord Injury patients
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• CVA (cerebrovascular accident) care
• Pre- and post-operative neuro surgery care
• Traumatic brain injury care
• Neuro ICU experience
• Stroke experience

• CPI

• Required skills: Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias, CVA, Pre/Post Neuro Surgery, Spinal Cord Injuries, Traumatic Brain Injuries

Scheduling Notes

• Straight 3x12 schedules are not offered
• Travelers can work alternating 3x12s and 4x12s every other week, or straight 4x12s
• RTO under 5 days requires adding time to the end of the contract
