Overview
- Travel/Contract RN role in San Francisco, California
- Float pool position, not unit based
- 12-hour night shifts, 3x12 schedule
- Must be able to float to other facilities/units
- Can be assigned to ED for boarded patients and/or assist with tasks
- Can be assigned to PACU for boarded patients
- No first-time travelers
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2.5 years of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- Transitional Care Unit experience
- Telemetry experience
- Experience in a Teaching Hospital setting
- One completed travel assignment
- Must be able to float to other UCSF facilities/units
Preferred Qualifications
- NIHSS
- Experience caring for acute care patients recovered from procedures, such as biopsies
