Job Details

• Experience Required: Minimum 5 years of nursing experience
• First-time Travelers: Not accepted
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Floating: No floating outside scope of practice
• Schedule Flexibility: Block schedule accommodation to be discussed during interview
• Local Candidates: Accepted with no radius restrictions
• Return to Office Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
• Minimum 5 years of clinic nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

• Valid U.S. Driver’s License or State ID
• Background checks covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years, including criminal and sex offender registries
• Education verification (degree/diploma)
• Illinois Healthcare Worker Registry fingerprinting completed in Illinois (not out of state)
• Competency exam required for clinical candidates
• Physical exam within one year of start, including labs and clearance for core job functions
• Fit mask test (specific mask types required)
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within one year
• Immunizations or documented immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
• 9-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required annually
• Professional references (2) required for clinical travel candidates
• Skills checklist completion required

Additional Notes

• Candidates must be prepared for potential call-offs up to 36 hours per 13-week assignment without pay for those hours
• Badge photo required within one week of contract signing
• Various state-specific criminal and registry searches required within 30 days of start
• Facility does not allow floating outside of scope to meet needs

This position is ideal for experienced outpatient RNs with a minimum of 5 years of experience who are comfortable with travel assignments and meet Illinois licensure and certification requirements.
