Registered Nurse - ICU

Location: Lafayette, Louisiana
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 8 weeks

Job Overview

ICU unit with an average daily census of 44 patients
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:2
Weekend coverage: every other weekend
Upon starting, you may be assigned to an Emergency Team with expectations to stay onsite during emergency events or be part of relief teams
Not suitable for first-time travel nurses

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid RN license in Louisiana
Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
One completed travel nursing assignment
ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
