Job Opportunity: CT Tech

Location: Creve Coeur, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Shift: Monday to Thursday, Nights (8:00 PM - 6:30 AM)
• Duties: Perform both CT scans and X-rays overnight
• Patient Volume: Approximately 70 visits per day
• Facility Size: 90 beds
• Weekend Requirement: Yes
• Floating: May float within scope to meet facility needs (no floating to sister facilities)
• Block Schedule: Not accommodated
• Local Candidates: Not accepted (radius rule: 75 miles)
• Pending State License: Accepted
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Special Requirements: Must have experience with EPIC, PACS, Siemens, and both ER and outpatient settings

Required Qualifications

• Specialty Experience: Minimum 1 year in Radiology / Cardiology (CT Tech)
• Certifications:

  • ARRT CT certification preferred
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) required
• Licensure: Must hold a valid Missouri state license or be eligible for one (pending licenses accepted)
• Additional: Prior travel experience is not required
• First-timers: Accepted

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Government-issued ID required
• Criminal background check within 6 months, including statewide and nationwide searches
• Quarterly EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks
• Education verification of highest related degree required
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Drug testing within 1 year of start, including a comprehensive panel
• Fit mask testing required and must be renewed annually
• Immunizations and health screenings required:

  • Tdap vaccine or declination
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella immunity or vaccination/declination as applicable
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
• Various facility-specific documents and acknowledgements (e.g., HIPAA, confidentiality, hand hygiene, dress code) must be completed prior to start
• Unit-specific competency exams and skills checklists required and must be updated annually

Additional Notes

• No on-call requirement
• Must be able to work overnight shifts and weekends
• Must adhere to facility policies including dress code, hand hygiene, and fingernail policies
• References: Two professional references required (supervisors preferred)
• Employment application and performance evaluations may be required

This position is ideal for CT Technologists with at least 1 year of experience who are comfortable working overnight shifts and have experience with EPIC and Siemens systems in both ER and outpatient environments. First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
