Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel/Contract Position

Location: Christiansburg, Virginia
Contract Length: Up to 26 weeks (approximately 6 months)
Shift: Night shift, 3 shifts of 12 hours each (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM), every other week
Hours per Week: 36 hours

Job Summary

• Provide respiratory therapy care for both adult and pediatric patients (peds low acuity).
• Required to float within skillset as needed.
• Must work one holiday per 13-week contract.
• Charting experience with EPIC required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Virginia
• Minimum of 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• Completion of at least one travel assignment as a Respiratory Therapist
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Experience working with both adult and pediatric patients
• Experience managing ARDS, aspiration, COVID, and pneumonia
• Airway management experience including extubation, oral airway placement, and nasal airway placement
• Experience with EPIC charting system
